Sue Moore is the grandmother of a young man (Ben) who has Asperger Syndrome (a form of Autism). She has a unique perspective of dealing with an Asperger child who was diagnosed when he was 9 years old all the way to his current age of 20. Even when Ben was a baby, before his official diagnosis as having Asperger, she noticed that he displayed unusual behavior patterns. Her direct involvement with Ben and his problems associated with having Asperger Syndrome, uniquely qualifies her to speak on the subject of Asperger children. Book-learning is important in dealing with an Asperger child, but Sue’s direct involvement in working with Ben will give you insight in dealing with an Asperger child that you will never read in a book.
